I just wanted to send you a quick note to say thanks for the training. I really enjoyed the class and it brought some things home for me that I have been neglecting. I have a 5 year old and a 7 month old and just the thought of something happening around them and me not being able to react properly makes me emotional. I have already started gearing my wife up to do some impromptu training this weekend so that she might understand the mind set necessary in a violent situation and how she needs to act properly.


You will be glad to note that I use my new learned technique to take off my seat belt every time now as I truly believe in memorized motor skills.

I thought your training was very professional and serious and enjoyed your very hands on technique of teaching. I would recommend you to anyone looking for life saving training. I myself look forward to training with you again in the future.

For the last 15 years I have attended required professional certification and recurrent training. I was very impressed by the depth of material, level of professionalism, personal dedication, and just plain patience on the part of Mr. Desrosiers. The course was a terrific value in terms of the material covered and the cost. Finally, I have to admit that it was a lot of fun too!

What I appreciated the most from working with you was how you had set the high expectations for the live fire drills. You asked me to visualize myself in different situations, set the expectation for the live fire drill, and allowed me to execute those drills in a safe and well supervised manner.....


You have a gift of making a person mentally ready to handle a firearm in an unfamiliar situation. By taking the person out of their comfort zone, especially with requiring the blanks in every magazine, allowing her to safely execute a drill, and give the immediate feedback, makes your teaching skills solid! (and that's coming from a veteran public school teacher!) Your constructive criticism was never demeaning in any way which is what made the two jam-packed days go by effortlessly. I would not hesitate to take another handlers' course from you again......
